Bath

Bath is going well!  Residency started on Wednesday, and it's been fun and useful.  I finally feel like I'm on the right track, but I have a long way to go too.  Nicole, who's a professional fiction writer and started the program with me, has 140 pages done, which is twice as much as what I have.  But it is what it is.  It's hard to write as much as I'd like to, and when I do sit down to write I sometimes experience writer's block or don't know where to start.

Bath itself is gorgeous!  I'm really enjoying my time here.  This weekend's been really lively and fun.  It was bustling all day yesterday, so I walked around for a few hours -- went to the farmer's market and a performance of August Wilson's "Fences" at the Theatre Royal.  Today, my old student Lizzie is visiting for the day.  :)

More later...
